I don't know how many times I've heard this phrase, our thinking shape our experiences. And some say your results reflect your beliefs. If you think about it, that's why/how people sometimes turn negatives into positives (or vice versa). SO, in trying to eliminate beliefs that limit me, I've used the principles of positive thinking in my life, and I feel anyone can use these to transform their life in business or general.
#1 Take responsibility
I believe, like others, that everyone is in charge of their life. In fact, I celebrate the fact that I have the power to determine my own future. When we hold ourselves accountable for the outcomes we create, we’re taking responsibility.
#2 Leverage your strengths
Everyone has their own strengths right? We each have our own individual strengths that we can draw on.
Figure out what you’re good at and what you want to do, and let that knowledge guide your choices.
#3 Always make an effort
I believe in trying and making an effort to do something than not at all.
Figure out your definition of success so you know what is worth working for. Make an effort to go at it no matter how big it might look. Give yourself credit when you make progress and stop comparing yourself to others.
#4 Embrace Change
Change is a touchy subject. I know a lot of people avoid change but it's important to accept that life is a series of changes. When we focus on the present moment, and prepare for the future, we can easily adapt to whatever circumstances come our way.
#5 Listen to feedback
Feedback can be brutal but it can help us.
When we ask for feedback we can enhance our performance and it's a nice way of showing others that we respect their point of view. We also grow faster when we gather solid input that we can translate into action.
#6 Connect with others
Nowadays, staying connected with people is easier with social media.
Moral support matters!
Surround yourself with loving and encouraging family and friends. Participate actively at events or in your faith community.
Networking events can help you make new connections which can come in handy in your day-to-day life OR business/career.

#7 Recognise opportunities
I'm always looking for new opportunities, and they sometimes come in unexpected forms. It's always good to stay alert for promising openings. Who knows, you could meet a new friend or business connection while standing in line to buy your morning coffee.
#8 Seek help when needed
With a strong support network, I find it easier to ask for help when I need it. How about expanding your capabilities by building a strong support network. It starts as close as home.
#9 Try new things
I'm always open to experimentation. And many times I've discovered hidden talents in the process.
#10 Celebrate success
Celebrate success no matter how minor it may seem. A little "yay" will go a long way to encourage you to do more.
Do you agree with any of these? Would love to hear your thoughts/comments below.
